Don’t buy the Lexus GX 460 SUV! That’s what Consumer Reports is saying after giving the vehicle the rare “Don’t Buy” warning in an article published on MSNBC.com. According to the magazine, the SUV is prone to rollover because the electronic stability control system takes too long to kick in. As Toyota’s reputation has been indisputably tarnished after the troubled automaker recalled thousands of models for sticky accelerator pedals and dangerously placed floor mats, their luxury brand, Lexus, is in trouble too.

Since the small-volume vehicle has gone on sale in November, approximately 5,000 have been sold. Buyers beware, your new GX 460 is not covered by pedal recalls. The GX 460 is about 3 inches taller than Toyota 4Runner.
